In 2008 I joined Mortgage Link Waikato, buying in as a co-director, which I see as a great career highlight.

I love seeing clients achieve their goals and dreams. Whilst I always prefer clients make me their first choice, I remember a particular case where the clients had already seen their own bank and had been to a number of other lenders themselves and no one would approve their house purchase. Within approx 24 hours of seeing me, I had an approval for them, and a few weeks later they happily moved into their new home.

I grew up in Te Awamutu, and have been living in Hamilton since 1983. I am married to Adele and we have 3 grown up children, and one grandchild. I enjoy all sports, and currently participate in powerlifting and dragon boating. I have represented New Zealand in waka ama and dragon boating, which has taken me all over the world to places such as Rome, Capetown and Australia.
