I have seven years experience in the finance industry, with roles ranging from Foreign Currency trading to both Personal and Business Credit.

In 2007 I left the banking industry in order to spend more time with my family. I decided to become a Mortgage Broker because to me it provides an opportunity to do the very best for my clients, rather than being forced to push unwanted products on them. Mortgage Link offers one of the widest ranges of lending options in New Zealand and so was a perfect fit for my goals.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics as well as a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration majoring in Accountancy and Management.

In 2008 I joined Mortgage Link North Taranaki with a view to one day own the company. I am very excited by the opportunities that the current economic situation is presenting. Now more than ever, people need to have access to the best advice before making any decisions about getting into debt. Of course I am now in a position to help people with this advice and usually at no cost!

I was born in the UK but my family moved to New Zealand before my third birthday. I grew up in New Plymouth, leaving at the age of 18 to attend Victoria University. I obtained both of my degrees in three and a half years before joining the banking industry.

My wife Kate and I have two young children. Being closer to both of our extended families now that we have one of our own was the main motivation to move back to Taranaki. Prior to having children I was a martial arts instructor, but for now my time is focused on my family and my clients.
