Phil has been involved in the mortgage advice industry since its infancy in 1987. He has helped to develop the changes to the way people source their finance in this country through his involvement in Mortgage Link and the NZMBA.

He started Re-Max Group as an investment advisory and mortgage brokering company but has concentrated on mortgage advice over the last 21 years. His integrity and professionalism has earned him the respect of the major bank and non-bank lenders and he is proud of being a founder of an industry that now provides quality advice and service to just under 40% of mortgage borrowers.

Re-Max Group joined the Mortgage Link group in 1996 and changed its name to reflect this strategic move. Phil is also a founding member of the New Zealand Mortgage Brokers Association.

Phil has been a Justice of the Peace since 1988. He has a grown family and is actively involved in property investment, mountain biking, road riding, and playing the odd round of golf.
