I was motivated to become a mortgage adviser soon after my wife Wendy had employed and trained somebody to run the office while she was on maternity leave. Unfortunately for Wendy (only at the time!) the staff member was offered a better position and as I’d had some previous lending experience, and mainly because we didn’t have time to train someone else, I took on the role. We were able to continue operating the business rather than have the doors close to what had begun to gather momentum with client referrals. Prior to becoming a mortgage adviser (12 years ago) I was employed full-time as a builders’ labourer while I was also establishing my own security alarm sales & installations business.

I enjoy being my own boss and I get great satisfaction assisting other people to achieve their goals. This includes offering tremendous customer care and recommendations to & for professional/s’ advice if and when required to complete any transactions.

I enjoy golf, boating, fishing, camping, resort holidays, socialising, spending time with my family, and personal property development.
